Premium Poron Foam Kit for the Keychron Q2/Q2 Pro/Q2 MAX

The material used in our poron foam kits has been carefully selected to provide the best acoustic upgrade for your board.

Material

Our plate foam is made from extra soft, slow rebound poron. This material is optimal in thickness and density to provide the cleanest, crispest notes with any switch you use.

Our case and PCB foam are made from very soft poron, which has a higher density than our plate foam. This increase in density is much better suited to reduce vibration, decrease hollowness and pinging, and eliminate reverb within the keyboard.

Modularity

We design our kits with customization and modularity in mind. Our Q Series kits include both the PCB and case foam. While similar, each provides a distinct benefit when used separately. Used together and their effect is increased.

Must-have for Keychron builds

I've met the founder of Keyboard Kustoms on Discord and he was very helpful from the start. After the launch of the website, I bought the poron foam kit and PE foam and I'm extremely happy with the result. Everything fits perfectly and it's an easy and cheap but impactful upgrade for my Keychron Q2. I live in Belgium and, after paying the import costs, it arrived incredibly quickly.

Made me Fall in love with the Q2 again

This foam kit has had the biggest impact on sound for my Q2. Im using the pcb and plate foams plus extra Poron foam gaskets on my PC plate. No tape mod, no PE foam. Im using stabilizer pads for the force break mod. When I first installed keychron’s PC plate I was really dissapointed because every switch I tired had a very cheap plastic downstroke sound. A lot of folks say foam kills the natural sound of the board, but for me, the Poron cleaned up the sound making it seem less thin or flimsy.

The PCB foam doesn't hug the switches as well as some others I've seen, but in my case that doesn't seem to matter.
