Premium Poron Foam Kit for the Keychron Q3/Q3 Pro/Q3 MAX

The material used in our poron foam kits has been carefully selected to provide the best acoustic upgrade for your board.

Material

Our plate foam is made from extra soft, slow rebound poron. This material is optimal in thickness and density to provide the cleanest, crispest notes with any switch you use.

Our case and PCB foam are made from very soft poron, which has a higher density than our plate foam. This increase in density is much better suited to reduce vibration, decrease hollowness and pinging, and eliminate reverb within the keyboard.

Modularity

We design our kits with customization and modularity in mind. Our Q Series kits include both the PCB and case foam. While similar, each provides a distinct benefit when used separately. Used together and their effect is increased.

What’s Included

Plate Foam - Installed between the switch plate and PCB

PCB Foam - Installed directly under the PCB

Case Foam - Installed in the bottom of the case

The plate and case foam fit perfectly. The PCB foam took some doctoring and had to be cut to fit around some of the connectors. Not much of a noticeable upgrade IMO from the stock foam in the Q3 Pro.

Perfect fit

Definitely changes the acoustic profile. Way more convenient than applying stickers directly to the pcb.

Good quality, but...

The right side of both Poron Foam and PE Foam were made 1 or 2 mm longer than the actual size, and were sometimes caught in the case. You can cut them by yourself, but please make sure to match the size of the PCB.
