The material used in our poron foam kits has been carefully selected to provide the best acoustic upgrade for your board.

Material

Our plate foam is made from extra soft, slow rebound poron. This material is optimal in thickness and density to provide the cleanest, crispest notes with any switch you use.

Our case and PCB foam are made from very soft poron, which has a higher density than our plate foam. This increase in density is much better suited to reduce vibration, decrease hollowness and pinging, and eliminate reverb within the keyboard.

Nicer than original

I decided to use the foam between the plate and PCB, and it looks to be cut more nicely than the original foam. It gave my keyboard the sound I wanted. I tried the other two bottom foams, then went back to the original silicone pad because I liked the sound it made. I can think of a few builds where the bottom foams would be very helpful, but I like that you can use different pieces to get what you want
