PE Foam for Keychron Q1/Q1 Pro/Q1 MAX

Made from irradiation cross-linked polyethylene (IXPE). Used to modify the sound of switch key presses. The PE foam we use has anti-static properties, and a very high surface resistivity to prevent signal cross-talk

Installed on top of PCB, below plate foam/switches

 

Specifications  

0.5mm thickness

Design includes cutouts for switch contacts to help with alignment and switch installation

The acoustic upgrade kit from keychron is for ANSI only, so for ISO users this is a must buy. KeyboardKustoms never disappoints, they always have excellent ISO support!

Too Thick

Unfortunately, the PE foam is too thick and some keys do not work because they cannot make contact with the sockets beneath them (In my case, the fn and right ctrl). Seems well made, but useless in the end.
