PE Foam for the Keychron V1 MAX

Made from irradiation cross-linked polyethylene (IXPE). Used to modify the sound of switch key presses. The PE foam we use has anti-static properties, and a very high surface resistivity to prevent signal cross-talk

Installed on top of PCB, below plate foam/switches

 

Specifications  

0.5mm thickness

Design includes cutouts for switch contacts to help with alignment and switch installation

Product updates the acoustics of my keyboard amazingly well. Just what it needed for more thock. Had to make some adjustments to the foam with scissors as it didn't match my v1 max. But not a big deal. Took maybe 20 to 30 min extra.
