POM Plate for Keychron Q2/Q2 Pro/Q2 MAX

Made from acetal copolymer, also known as polyoxymethylene (POM)

POM plates replace the stock plate the board ships with and is used to alter the sound and feel of your board. POM plates provide a more flexible typing experience while lowering the pitch of the switch presses.

Important POM Information

Due to the manufacturing process, POM does not have a protective film applied. Because of this POM almost always contains surface imperfections such as light scratches. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to prevent this; however, the integrity of the plate is not affected at all.

Nice plate

90% profit margin, unusable standoffs

Overpriced, but hey, its in stock. Standoffs are unusably long, keycaps WILL make contact with the metal standoffs, resulting in a nasty metallic sound upon bottoming out. This could be easily remedied with a dremel. I opted to use no standoffs or plate foam, as building with plate foam + PE foam requires such standoffs to compress both layers of foam. Included poron gaskets are NOT 3m.

POM plate= Great!

Wanted a different plate for my Q2. The plates on the Keychron site were sold out for so long that I decided to look at third party options. Came across this POM plate here and it sounds amazing. Very deep sounds which is standard for POM. Easy to mount, however, a guide would be helped up for first time buyers. Would highly recommend.

Great product, great seller

Plate fit board perfectly, came with all the parts necessary (standoffs, screws, gaskets). Shipped quickly and in nice packaging.

This POM plate fit in my Keychron Q2 perfectly. Compared to the steel plate which comes with the Q2, the POM plate provides a softer, more comfortable sound and feel. The provided gaskets are of good quality, though I did have to trim some to fit properly.
